Track Excursion: The Fall
179 - 29/06/2010
This 1098S was one of the casualties of yesterday's on track excursion at Sepang. The rider carried too mush speed and lost the front end coming out of Turn 5. The day saw 4 other riders losing it at the same turn but luckily no serious injuries were reported. Some came home with knackered sliders, some came home with bruised limbs and most came home wet from head to toe.

Projectile Vomiting
Day 178 - 28/06/2010
I'm browsing around for paint job ideas. Something that could be done for the Akai Onna.

Supersport
Day 174 - 24/06/2010
I've recently got my hands on the new SBK-X for PS3, which brings me to a question.... Why the fuck is the supersport class more difficult than the superbike class?

Anchors
Day 169 - 19/06/2010
The Tokico brakes on the Akai Onna. Most people don't understand or fully realize how powerful a sportsbike braking really is (even in the wet). These powerful anchors are capable of stopping the moving mass of 280kg (rider and bike) from over 180km/h to a dead stop in less time than most sportscars. Granted modern ultra-sportcars have ceramic discs, massive tires and air-braking to out perform anything on two wheels, but a fully seasoned rider, coupled with "response time" can typically out brake and out accelerate most four wheeled vehicles only by using the front stoppers. Future technologies will introduce better braking distribution and disc compounds that will yet again push these boundaries.

Full Circle
Day 168 - 18/06/2010
Here a picture of the revised tail unit on the Akai Onna. The MiVV Suono slip-on is now in full view and glory. Its been a few months now but i still get a chill every time I hear the exhaust at full pelt.

The Journey
Day 165 - 15/06/2010
I've come along way since my venture into the single track community, but i've plenty more to go.

Shooting Stars
Day 163 - 13/06/2010
A very rare sight, The Yamaha MT-01, like the V-Max is about as common the bald eagle on this side of the southern hemisphere.

Hidden Entities
Day 155 - 06/05/2010
Recently, i made one final change on the Akai Onna's a few weeks back. I decided to clean up the rear-end completely by removing the heat shield, the rear reg. plate holder and exhaust cover. Then i went on to design a cleaner rear light cluster, embedding the tail-light with the reg plate bracket and hiding the turn signals flushed to the sub-frame. It still make a hell of a sound though.

Upon Completion
Day 154 - 05/05/2010
There's nothing left i wanna change on the Akai Onna. perhaps just BST carbon wheels (5-spoke) and a Power Commander V. After that, we are on to our next project.
