Isn't she a beauty? I mean there's not much else that man creates in this world that looks so good. Here's a thing that separates the Italians and their Japanese counterparts when it comes to bikes. The Japs design the wing mirrors to work, but they make em ugly as well and they don't blend into the rest of the design well. The Italians ensure that the mirrors are not just an after thought even if they don't work properly.

My argument is, if your on a machine like that, there's no need to be looking behind, not like anyone else is gonna be able to cut you off anyways.

Last weekend's canyon run has now left the Akai Onna stranded. With hardly any thread left on the rear i am now immobilized. Coupled with some jerk-off behavior of a certain garage manager, i now have no idea if the new hoops i'm looking for are available. If this is their brand of customer service then i'd like to say fuck you, fuck you very very much. My money is always good elsewhere.

It was a damp morning for us last Sunday, so we decided to start a bit late. The rear threads on the Akai Onna was barely showing but nevertheless the Michelins proved more that capable. Had a blast upstaging literbikes up the hill run.
